Trade up, extend, buy it or hand it back. A ten-minute walk-around now can save you money later.

When an Audi lease wraps up, drivers in Louisiana and in Baton Rouge have four choices: trade up, extend, buy the car, or return it.

Quick answerIf you buy the car, you skip the turn-in fee and you won't be billed for extra wear or extra miles. If you return it, an independent inspector hired by Audi checks it first.

The inspection

The inspector is independent, not the dealership. The visit is free and can happen at your home, your office or the store, and the report is good for 90 days.

Skipping the turn-in fee

Audi says the fee is waived if you lease or buy a new or Certified Pre-Owned Audi through Audi Financial Services within 90 days.

Want to keep it?

Request a payoff in the myAudi app. Audi Baton Rouge can also look at buyout and refinance options with a number of lenders, not only Audi Financial Services. See our buyout and trade-in explainer.
